On February 26, the Prime Minister signed and issued Decree No. 40/2025/ND-CP stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
Accordingly, the Ministry of Industry and Trade has 19 units assisting the Minister of Industry and Trade in performing state management functions and 3 public service units.
Immediately after Decree 40 was issued, the Minister of Industry and Trade signed decisions to appoint officials (after streamlining) to head units from March 3, 2025. Thus, the list of heads of units under the Ministry of Industry and Trade after streamlining is as follows:
