Previously, on December 21, 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Decision No. 3390⁄QD-BCT on the official application of anti-dumping tax on some cold-rolled (cold-pressed) steel products in coil or plate form originating from the People's Republic of China (case code: AD08).

Pursuant to Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management, 1 year before the end of the period of application of anti-dumping measures, the Minister of Industry and Trade shall issue a decision to conduct a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures.
The content of the final review is specified in detail in Clause 2, Article 82 of the Law on Foreign Trade Management and Article 63 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP dated January 15, 2018 detailing a number of articles of the Law on Foreign Trade Management on trade defense measures (Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP).
On the afternoon of September 30, 2024, the Trade Defense Department officially announced the receipt of the request for a final review of the case. According to the provisions of Clause 2, Article 62 of Decree No. 10/2018/ND-CP, within 30 days from the date of this notice from the Investigation Agency, domestic producers have the right to submit a request for a final review of the application of anti-dumping measures.
The deadline for the Department of Trade Defense to receive the application is October 30, 2024 at the latest. The application must be submitted directly to the Department of Trade Defense within the above deadline at the address: Department of Trade Defense - 8th floor, 23 Ngo Quyen, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi.
