Tien Giang: Unseasonal rain in eastern localities

Early in the morning, rain began to appear in the eastern districts of Tien Giang province such as Go Cong Dong, Tan Phu Dong and Go Cong Tay, lasting for more than 10 minutes. According to the Tien Giang Province Hydrometeorological Station, unseasonal rain appeared in some places in Tan Phu Dong, Go Cong Tay, Go Cong Dong districts and Go Cong city. The rainfall measured in Long Vinh commune, Go Cong Tay district was 4 mm, and in Phu Thanh commune, Tan Phu Dong district was over 32 mm.

The reason for the unseasonal rain is that there is a turbulent low in the East Sea that has caused unseasonal rain, helping to reduce the temperature. It is forecasted that in the following days there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places in Tien Giang province. People should pay attention during thunderstorms to guard against tornadoes, lightning and strong gusts of wind.
