Life Fulcrum Club responds to Vietnam Day for People with Disabilities - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

April 18 is designated as Vietnam Day for Persons with Disabilities in the Vietnam Law on Persons with Disabilities. In 2025, the Vietnam Association of Persons with Disabilities chose the theme “ Digital technology and accessibility with regard to persons with disabilities”.

Members discuss and share with volunteers about job opportunities.

The Life Support Club was established in June 2023, as a support for people with disabilities in the province with the goal of gathering, encouraging, motivating, helping and creating opportunities for people with disabilities to overcome difficulties, strive to excel in studying and working to be self-reliant in life, become contributors to the family, society and integrate into the community better and better. Currently, the Club has 75 members in 10/10 districts, cities of the province and Bach Thong district ( Bac Kan ), including 54 people with disabilities and 21 volunteers.

At the meeting, members listened to the sharing about the application of technology to help people with disabilities access information,education and employment, thanks to the development of digital technology, software that supports reading text by voice, voice recognition software and sign language conversion applications to help them access information more easily. The application of technology will help many people with disabilities have the opportunity to access society better, opening up equal employment opportunities and a more equal working environment.

Club members receive gifts from sponsors.

On this occasion, the Club gave one member a wheelchair worth 2.5 million VND and each member a gift; the gifts from sponsors support members with serious illnesses.
