According to the report at the conference, in the first 6 months of the year, the Central Propaganda Department has made efforts and proactively implemented and completed 15 projects to review and summarize resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Politburo, the Secretariat and a number of major scientific topics; promptly advised the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue 10 new documents , with the highlight being advising on the issuance of Regulation 144-QD/TW of the Politburo on " Revolutionary ethical standards of cadres and party members in the new period".

In the first 6 months of the year, the activities of the agency's Party Committee also had many innovations in terms of content and methods of operation. Many Party cells have innovated and improved the quality of activities, especially thematic activities. The Party Committee proactively grasped the thoughts and moods of cadres and Party members; encouraged Party members to proactively express their legitimate thoughts and aspirations to the leaders of the Board and the Party Committee in order to promptly provide direction and motivate cadres and Party members to promote their pioneering and exemplary roles, and strive to successfully complete assigned political tasks.

Speaking at the conference, comrade Nguyen Trong Nghia requested the Central Propaganda Department to focus on summarizing the practice and studying the theory of the implementation of the Party's guidelines and policies in the fields of Party building in politics, ideology, ethics and propaganda work. Focus on studying fundamental, comprehensive and long-term issues; study and develop a propaganda strategy from now to 2030, with a vision to 2045, to determine the general direction, development goals and identify the main tasks and solutions for the development of the propaganda sector from now to 2030, with a vision to 2045, in order to effectively carry out the role and mission of the propaganda sector assigned by the Party and the State.

The Committee actively participated in summarizing theoretical and practical issues over 40 years of renovation; contributed to the drafting of documents for the 14th National Party Congress; performed well the tasks of the Document Subcommittee and the Organization Subcommittee serving the 14th National Party Congress; developed information and propaganda plans for Party Congresses at all levels and the 14th National Party Congress, first of all, for grassroots Party Congresses.
