Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San received Major General Bounxou Douangkhammy

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San emphasized that the senior leaders of the two countries always attach importance to preserving and consolidating the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos in all circumstances and always wish to cultivate this already good relationship to become even better. Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San assessed that the Vietnam-Laos defense cooperation relationship in recent times has continued to be focused on by the two countries in a practical and effective manner in areas such as delegation exchanges, training, cadre training, experience exchange, etc. Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San emphasized that strengthening cooperation and sharing of experience between the two Ministries of National Defense in economic and financial management is of utmost importance. Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San highly appreciated the coordination and regular exchange of working experiences between the Finance Department, Ministry of National Defense of Vietnam and the Finance Department, Ministry of National Defense of Laos, especially in coordinating consultation and proposing to the leaders of the two countries' Defense Ministries on ensuring budget for activities between the two countries' armies, contributing to the effective implementation of military-defense cooperation between the two countries.

For his part, Major General Bounxou Douangkhammy informed Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San of the results of his previous meeting with the Finance Department, Vietnam Ministry of National Defense. Major General Bounxou Douangkhammy expressed his gratitude for the attention and close direction of the leaders of the two countries' Ministries of National Defense for the cooperation between the Finance sectors of the two armies in recent times. Major General Bounxou Douangkhammy expressed his hope that in the coming time, the cooperative relationship between the two agencies in particular and the two armies in general will continue to be further strengthened.

Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San expressed his hope that, with the results of this meeting, the two sides will continue to coordinate more closely in the professional field, focusing on the following contents: Sharing experiences, innovating, improving the quality of financial management work; improving the effectiveness of consulting and proposing to the leaders of the two countries' Ministries of Defense to ensure financial work for the activities identified by both sides. Senior Lieutenant General Vu Hai San affirmed that the Vietnamese Ministry of Defense always supports and creates favorable conditions for agencies to strengthen cooperation, contributing to further deepening bilateral defense cooperation.
