On the morning of July 25, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and a Government delegation inspected the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Long An.
The Prime Minister and the working delegation surveyed and inspected the progress of the implementation of the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Long An province at the intersection between Ring Road 3 and the Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong Expressway and Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway.
The Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Long An province is located in Ben Luc district, 6.84 km long, starting at the border of Ho Chi Minh City - Long An, ending at the intersection of Ben Luc - Long Thanh and Ho Chi Minh City - Trung Luong expressways.
The project has a clearance scale of 74.5 m. The expressway has a speed of 100 km/h, phase 1 is 4 lanes, cross-section of 19.75 m. The parallel road (urban road) has a speed of 60 km/h, 2 lanes on each side. The completion of the construction of Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 aims to connect provinces and cities in the southern key economic region, build a modern and sustainable urban system, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the country.
Encouraging the staff and workers working at the construction site, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh requested the locality to focus on completing the site clearance for the project (currently 97%) by prioritizing on-site resettlement with the requirement of ensuring that people have new housing that is better than or equal to their old housing.
The Prime Minister also requested Long An to directly hand over common construction material mines to contractors for project construction, without intermediaries, and to do a good job of site clearance and building logistics roads to exploit these mines.

For contractors, the Prime Minister requires that what is said must be done, what is committed must be done, what is done must be produced, with measurable results; say no to corruption and negativity, ensure publicity and transparency; mobilize human resources, means, equipment... to take advantage of favorable weather to carry out "3 shifts and 4 shifts", ensuring progress, quality, technique, aesthetics, safety, environmental sanitation of the project, avoiding cost overruns.
Local authorities, relevant agencies, contractors, consultants and supervisors need to coordinate closely, promptly handle arising issues and always listen to people's opinions in a spirit of openness and responsibility .
