Through the draft report on survey results, monitoring the implementation of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces

On the morning of March 20, the Legal Committee of the Provincial People 's Council held a meeting to approve the draft report on the results of the survey and supervision of the implementation of the Law on Militia and Self-Defense Forces (DQTV) and Resolutions of the People 's Council of Vinh Long province related to the DQTV force .

According to the draft report , the construction and organization of the militia and self - defense force must have a reasonable number, a streamlined, compact, and increasingly high quality , meeting the requirements of tasks in the new situation. The work of planning, arranging, and using cadres and the work of training, coaching, fostering, and training the militia and self-defense force is always of interest. The working group coordinates and supports effective activities in preventing natural disasters, epidemics, and search and rescue, creating trust for local Party committees, authorities, and people; maintaining political security, social order and safety, building a solid people 's heart posture associated with the people's security posture.

However , the work of reviewing and systematizing legal documents to advise on proposals for amendments, supplements, and promulgation of local policies for the militia and self-defense forces is sometimes not timely . The work of investing in working equipment and support tools for the commune-level military command committees and military command committees of agencies and organizations is not complete according to Decree 72/2020/ND-CP.
