Announcement of the conclusion of the City Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity at the 8th meeting
(Haiphong.gov.vn) - On October 1, 2024, under the chairmanship of comrade Le Tien Chau, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, Head of the Hai Phong National Assembly Delegation , Head of the City's Steering Committee for Anti-Corruption and Negativity, the Steering Committee held the 8th Meeting; giving opinions on a number of contents.
1. The meeting acknowledged and highly appreciated the performance of the Steering Committee, members of the Steering Committee, and the City Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee - the Standing Body of the Steering Committee.
2. In the first 9 months of 2024, the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Steering Committee promptly concretized many documents and synchronously and effectively deployed solutions to prevent, detect and handle corruption and negativity. Promote innovation in propaganda and dissemination of the Party's guidelines and policies and state laws in a practical and specific manner, enhancing the role and responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants, public employees and the people in the fight against corruption and negativity. Continuing to innovate the leadership and direction of handling cases and incidents in a drastic manner, clearly identifying requirements, proactively reviewing and overcoming difficulties and obstacles, speeding up the progress of handling cases and incidents, especially cases and incidents that the Central Steering Committee recommended the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to monitor and direct handling, has directed comprehensive and thorough handling, ending the handling and settlement process according to the provisions of law, proposing the Central Steering Committee to remove 04 cases and incidents from the list of cases and incidents monitored and directed by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee; removing 01 case from the list of cases and incidents monitored and directed by the Steering Committee and considering removing 01 case from the list of cases and incidents monitored and directed by the Steering Committee... has contributed to improving the effectiveness of the work of preventing and combating corruption and negativity in the city.
3. Tasks in the last 3 months of 2024: The Steering Committee continues to innovate content and methods, improve the operational efficiency of the Steering Committee, the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee. Continue to focus on directing Party committees, Party organizations and mass organizations to well perform the following key tasks:
(1) Focus on effectively implementing and completing the contents of the annual Work Program, Inspection and Supervision Program for 2024 of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee.
(2) Strengthen propaganda, dissemination and education on the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws on preventing and combating corruption and negativity.
(3) Timely, fully and seriously concretize the policies and projects of the Central Committee and the conclusions of the General Secretary and Head of the Central Steering Committee on preventing and combating corruption and negativity .
(4) Lead and direct the strict implementation of Plan No. 373-KH/TU, dated July 5, 2024 of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on implementing the recommendations of Inspection Team No. 1 and the Notice of Conclusion at the 25th Session, the 25th Session of the Central Steering Committee, and the directive documents of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee on implementing the recommendations of the 2023 thematic inspection teams of the City Steering Committee .
(5) Focus on directing the completion of the investigation and handling of cases and incidents, especially those cases and incidents that the Central Steering Committee recommended the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee to monitor and direct the handling of, and those cases and incidents that the City Steering Committee monitors and directs the handling of, to ensure the progress set forth in the Conclusion Notices of the Steering Committee and the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, without postponing the assigned deadline, unless new circumstances arise.
