TPO – With the support of youth union members, people of Lien Son village (Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An) have a clean concrete road to travel and welcome the new year.
In the first days of the new year, dozens of youth union members of Nam Can commune and the Youth Union of Nam Can Border Guard Station supported people of Lien Son village (Nam Can commune, Ky Son district, Nghe An) to build new rural works in the area. |
Lien Son village (Nam Can commune) has 56 households of Mong ethnic group. The whole village currently has nearly 500m of road that has not been concreted. Faced with this situation, the commune's youth union members coordinated with the Nam Can Border Guard Station Youth Union and the commune's functional forces to come up with a plan to build a new road to help the people in the village. |
Before pouring concrete, officers and soldiers of the Border Guard Station were mobilized to pour rocks and level the roadbed to make it solid. Youth Union members of the commune and officers and soldiers of the Border Guard transported soil and rocks to make the roadbed. |
Once the roadbed is in place, the members use formwork to create a mold and then pour concrete to ensure it is sturdy and beautiful. |
Because the road is steep, the concrete pouring is done manually by the youth union members. |
With the active participation of dozens of youth union members and officers, rural roads in Lien Son village have been concreted and cleaned up beautifully. This is one of the key projects to improve infrastructure, contributing to improving the lives of local people. |
Mr. Va Ba Tenh (Youth Union of Nam Can Commune) shared: This is one of a series of activities of the Youth Union of the Commune and the Youth Union of the Border Guard Station aiming to help Nam Can Commune soon complete the criteria for building a new countryside. The program not only helps improve the local appearance but also contributes to strengthening the relationship between the army and the people, spreading the spirit of "Wherever there is a need, there are youth, wherever there is difficulty, there are youth." |
Mr. Lau Ba Chay - Chairman of Nam Can Commune People's Committee (Ky Son District, Nghe An) said that in a short time, the concrete road through Lien Son village has been completed, helping people have a new, clean and beautiful road to travel. In the coming time, the Youth Union members and functional forces will continue to support the construction of an additional 400m of concrete road, contributing to Nam Can soon completing the criteria for building a new rural area. |
