Establishing 3 interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety for the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee H' Yim Kđoh has just signed and issued Decision No. 112/QD-UBND dated January 15, 2024 on the establishment of interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety (ATTP) on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024.

Accordingly, 3 interdisciplinary inspection teams on food safety for the 2024 Lunar New Year were established in the province. The inspection period will be from January 16 to January 18, 2024 in Buon Ma Thuot City and the following districts: M'Drak, Krong Buk, Lak, Krong Nang, Ea H'leo, Krong Bong, and Krong Ana.

The interdisciplinary food safety inspection team inspected products sold at business establishments in the province.

The inspection teams are responsible for inspecting food safety assurance and compliance with food safety laws of food production and trading establishments in the province during the 2024 Lunar New Year; taking food product samples for food safety quality testing; proposing and recommending to the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments and branches on food safety management measures in the area, contributing to improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management activities in the field of food safety.

The inspection teams have the right to request food establishments in the province to report on their food safety situation; provide records, documents and answer questions related to the inspection work. Request the local state management agency on food safety to provide information related to the inspection activities, and coordinate with the provincial inspection team to inspect food establishments in the area. At the same time, conduct records and handle violations within their authority. If they exceed their authority, they will recommend the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to handle them according to regulations.
