Accordingly, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province assigned the Department of Home Affairs of Thanh Hoa to preside over and coordinate with the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district and related units to urgently inspect and clarify the matter of 191 teachers in Hoang Hoa district not having their salaries re-arranged for many years.
At the same time, handle and resolve violations (if any), report verification and handling results before April 7.
Previously, as Thanh Nien reported, in the period of 2018 - 2024, 191 teachers in Hoang Hoa district were recruited as civil servants, but the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district did not rearrange teachers' salaries and seniority allowances according to the provisions of law, causing teachers' rights to be affected and disadvantaged. Meanwhile, when other localities in Thanh Hoa province recruited teachers at a certain time, the local authorities promptly arranged salaries, ensuring compliance with regulations.
The reason, according to the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa District, is that the regulations do not clearly state whether salaries are calculated from the time teachers are recruited as civil servants or from the time the regulations take effect, so up to now, salaries for teachers have not been rearranged.
Also according to Hoang Hoa District People's Committee, to resolve the benefits for teachers (receive back wages), it will cost about 14 billion VND and must be reported and wait for Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to decide.
