Major Vo Le Chi Tuyen (lecturer of the Commando Department, General Military Faculty, Army Officer School 2), instructor of training officers of the Air Defense - Air Force, participating in the parade in the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory, said: "The female commando unit has a very high training intensity, while the female soldiers mainly do office work, female physical and psychological condition... so there were some difficulties at first. However, due to the application of scientific training methods, from the initial basics, gradually improving and strengthening to adapt, so now it has met the requirements well."

"The spirit and will of the female commandos are very high. They not only practice during the day, but also at night," Major Tuyen affirmed, adding: "Many of the women were in pain, but still tried to practice. They fainted, and the medics took them in to take care of them, but they only rested for a while, then went back to practice again. There were comrades with young children, under 22 months old, but they still volunteered to participate in the mission."

Lieutenant - professional soldier Vo Thi Tuong Vi (General Staff of Military Region 5) said that she was very surprised and honored to be chosen to attend the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the country's reunification.

Since the day she started training, Ms. Vi has only visited her husband, children, and family (in Da Nang City) during the Lunar New Year holiday. The rest of her time, even though she has the chance to take advantage of the weekend, she has devoted all her time to training with her teammates.

A very special thing about the female commando unit is that they carry many modern weapons and equipment, such as: STV-215 submachine guns, bulletproof helmets integrated with electronic optical equipment (flashlights, night vision binoculars, thermal imaging cameras, etc.), communication equipment, and K56 bulletproof armor produced by factory Z117 (General Department of Defense Industry).
