Hai Duong Department of Transport announced the end of waterway traffic restrictions on 3 local rivers.

Currently, the water level on local rivers has receded. To continue ensuring smooth traffic, the Department of Transport announced that from 10:00 a.m. on September 25, the traffic restriction period on 3 local inland waterways including Cuu Yen, Tu Ky, and Cau Xe rivers will end.

All inland waterway vehicles traveling on local inland waterways must comply with waterway signals and the Law on Inland Waterway Traffic.

People's Committees of districts, cities and towns, based on the actual situation and safety conditions on local rivers, consider allowing ferries to resume operations to meet people's travel needs.

For the remaining 3 local rivers including Sat, Dinh Dao, and Ghe, due to high water levels and unsafe conditions, waterway traffic will continue to be restricted.

Previously, to ensure traffic safety in the context of rising flood waters, the Hai Duong Department of Transport announced restrictions on waterway traffic on local inland waterways. From 6 p.m. on September 10, all water transport vehicles are prohibited from traveling on local inland waterways, except for those serving flood and storm prevention and ensuring national security.
