Livestream sales training for businesses and cooperatives in the North Central and Central Coast regions

DNVN - On June 26-27 in Da Nang, the Trade Promotion Agency (Ministry of Industry and Trade) organized a training course on digital business skills to develop brands and build images for businesses and cooperatives in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong, Deputy Director of the Center for IT Application and Digital Transformation in Trade Promotion (Trade Promotion Agency) said that the training course is within the framework of the National Program on Trade Promotion (XTTM) in 2024 with the participation of agencies, trade organizations, XTTM, enterprises, cooperatives, and business households in the North Central region and Central Coast.

The training course content is systematically and scientifically designed, focusing on specific topics, guiding and supporting students to self-implement branding and business activities on digital platforms.

At the end of the training course, students will practice online sales (livestream sales) directly guided and implemented by content creators from the TikTok Shop platform. This is a practical method to help students quickly grasp the issues in implementing trade promotion activities in the digital environment, especially livestream sales activities.

“By applying business skills on digital platforms, businesses will improve the way they exploit tools and services on TikTok Shop and build scenarios to boost revenue and increase sales efficiency. Thereby, building customer trust in products, enhancing the brand value of Vietnam, helping to increase opportunities for successful trade connections, promoting the development of the digital economy in rural agriculture, and promoting trade promotion activities in the digital environment,” Mr. Nguyen Thanh Duong emphasized.

According to information at the training course, to promote regional linkage activities and apply science and technology to improve production and business capacity in a circular direction, towards a green and sustainable economy, the Department of Trade Promotion has coordinated with the social networking platform TikTok, reputable sellers on TikTok Shop and related units/individuals to organize a series of training programs on digital business skills to develop brands and build images for businesses and cooperatives in the North Central and Central Coast regions.

The program aims to support and promote the widespread application of digital transformation in trade promotion for businesses and the community, narrowing the gap between major cities and localities in the level of IT application and digital transformation in trade promotion. Improve the level of using IT applications on smartphones, how to participate in digital platforms, livestream skills to promote product images, crop yields, products that meet export standards, thereby enhancing the brand value of Vietnamese agricultural products.

At the same time, provide skills training and direct guidance to businesses and cooperatives on how to livestream sales, build booths on digital platforms; help businesses and cooperatives practice direct sales operations, build videos promoting product brands... to increase opportunities for successful trade connections and boost domestic consumption.
