BTO-On the morning of October 28, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a technical training course on reading soil analysis results in Binh Thuan province. The purpose is to share information related to plant nutrition and the benefits of testing in production soil. At the same time, it provides guidance on reading soil sample results for testing and guidance on nutrient management in crop cultivation for farmers.
The training course was attended by 25 delegates, including the Management Board of the Vietnam Fruit Quality Improvement Project - Central Vietnam Farmers' Union; Medical Committee Netherlands - Vietnam (MCNV); a number of experts, partners, a number of departments, localities, unions and cooperatives in the province.
The training course is part of the project “Improving the quality of Vietnamese fruits” in Binh Thuan province. Accordingly, experts gave delegates an overview of the issues of quality, productivity, and income of fruit growers that are currently facing many obstacles in exporting. Therefore, the question is whether it is possible to improve the quality and yield of fruits by optimizing farm management? According to experts, optimizing the use of input materials based on soil health tests combined with irrigation water management, rational use of nutrients, and knowledge sharing in farmer research groups will contribute to improving the quality of fruits, including improved shelf life.
The Provincial Farmers' Association said that the technical training course on reading soil analysis results in Binh Thuan province is of great significance, contributing to farmers in agricultural production accessing new scientific and technical advances in production. Through this conference and through the actual cultivation process in the locality, the delegates will receive attention and contributions of opinions on directions and solutions for sustainable fruit tree development.
It is known that the Project to improve the quality of Vietnamese fruits is owned by the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Union) and funded by the Netherlands Medical Organization Vietnam (MCNV).
