Strengthening security and absolute safety for Tien Phong Marathon 2025

The 2025 Tien Phong Newspaper National Marathon and Long Distance Championship is attracting great attention from the running community across the country. With more than 7,400 athletes participating, ensuring security and safety for the tournament in Quang Tri has become a key task for the authorities.

According to the Organizing Committee, Quang Tri Provincial Police mobilized 1,050 officers and soldiers along with many other support forces to ensure the event ran smoothly. Security forces including traffic police, mobile police, criminal police and other professional units were deployed in key areas to ensure the safety of athletes, spectators and people.

In addition, 600 youth union volunteers and 100 physical education teachers and staff also participated in the support. Medical staff with a team of experts are always ready to handle emergency situations.

With the theme “Triumph Song”, Tien Phong Marathon 2025 will take place from March 28 to 30 with many meaningful activities: Offering incense to commemorate heroic martyrs at Truong Son Cemetery, Road 9 Cemetery, Quang Tri Citadel; releasing flower lanterns on Thach Han River to pay tribute to the Vietnamese people who sacrificed for national independence.

In particular, on the morning of March 29, the Flag Raising Ceremony and honoring the national flag will be held at the special historical relic site on both banks of Hien Luong - Ben Hai, with sacred meaning, demonstrating patriotism, aspiration to rise up and contribute to the country.

Immediately after the flag-raising ceremony, the Opening Ceremony will take place at this historic location. At the same time, many social security activities such as donating charity houses in Quang Tri province will also be carried out, responding to the Government's call to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

With careful preparation, Tien Phong Marathon 2025 is not only an attractive sports festival but also contributes to promoting the image of Quang Tri - a safe, friendly destination with great potential for sports tourism.
