Strengthening the work of ensuring traffic safety and order

On May 21, the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of Dong Nai Provincial Police coordinated with the Traffic Police and Public Order Police of districts and cities under the province to launch a campaign to strengthen the work of ensuring traffic order and safety in the areas; focusing on inspecting and handling violations of traffic safety on inter-commune and provincial roads. The implementation plan was assigned to the Traffic Police Department (PC08) of the Provincial Police to preside over.

The focus of implementing this plan is to ensure traffic safety on inter-commune roads, provincial roads and roads connecting to industrial parks with large traffic volumes.

In addition, strengthen inspection and supervision of roads leading to mineral exploitation areas, production and supply points of construction materials, etc.

Resolutely handle violations of the law and regulations on traffic safety and order to strictly control and reduce traffic accidents to the lowest level.

Speaking with Nguoi Dua Tin , Lieutenant Colonel Tran Trong Thuy, Head of the Traffic Police Department, said: “In accordance with the telegram of the Traffic Police Department's leadership and the direction plan of the Provincial Police Department's Board of Directors in implementing this plan, the Provincial Police Traffic Police Department closely coordinates with the police of districts and cities to mobilize maximum forces and technical means to resolutely handle groups with violations such as: violations in the field of alcohol concentration, drug use, vehicles with "extension" of the vehicle body, overloading, oversized cargo, violating regulations on speed and driving in the wrong lane, road section... These are the main causes of traffic accidents, threatening the safety of people and vehicles when participating in traffic".

When implementing the plan, the police of districts and cities must arrange a specialized team to carry out the plan. The Traffic Police Department will increase the number of experienced officers and soldiers to coordinate with the specialized team and act as the team leader of the specialized team.

In addition, the Mobile Police Force, Police of wards, communes, towns and other professional forces such as: Criminal Police, Economic Police, Drug Crime Prevention Police... coordinate with the Traffic Police to implement thematic plans; ensure a strong enough force to enhance the armed force with the ability to be ready to suppress and control reckless subjects who have acts of resisting law enforcement officers.

In recent times, Dong Nai Provincial Police forces have continuously implemented plans of the Provincial Police Department in investigating and suppressing all types of criminal offenses; and apprehending and preventing acts of disturbing public order.

Especially the great effectiveness of Task Force 161, which specializes in dealing with street crimes, chaired by the Criminal Police Department.

And, with the goal of controlling and preventing to reduce traffic accidents to the lowest level, the Board of Directors of Dong Nai Provincial Police has issued Plan No. 234/KH-CAT-PC08 for the Police Forces of districts and cities to coordinate with the Traffic Police Department to effectively implement the above goal.

Dong Nai Provincial Police forces continuously implement plans of the Provincial Police Department in investigating and suppressing all types of criminal offenses; grasping and preventing acts of disturbing public order.

The plan to implement this Thematic Group, together with the success of Force 161 in the past time, will create strength on all fronts of fighting against all types of crime, ensuring peace and happiness for the people. Especially ensuring the safety of people's lives and property when participating in traffic on all routes from urban to remote areas in the province.
