The propaganda and mobilization work will be carried out until the end of February. From March 5, the authorities will enforce the transfer of land to households with sufficient documents but who have not yet handed over the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway.
On February 22, leaders of Bien Hoa city, Dong Nai coordinated with relevant functional units to continue inspecting and urging the site clearance and construction of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway, the section passing through Bien Hoa city.
Authorities coordinated with contractors to immediately dismantle the site that had just been handed over to serve construction.
At the working session, the delegation acknowledged the efforts of 6 working groups to mobilize the handover of the site throughout the week, day and night without rest.
This is also the 6th consecutive day that the delegation has visited households that have not yet handed over their land to propagate and mobilize them to hand over their land for construction.
As of February 22, Bien Hoa City's working groups have persuaded 188 households in Tam Phuoc and Phuoc Tan wards to agree to hand over the site. Notably, many households have voluntarily dismantled their constructions and moved their assets to hand over the site on February 22.
For the newly assigned land, local leaders also directed the People's Committees of Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc wards to coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center and the contractor to mobilize machinery and human resources to the site to level and receive the site immediately.
Meanwhile, at the project's starting point adjacent to Vo Nguyen Giap Street in Phuoc Tan Ward, local leaders also directed relevant units to dismantle the architectural structures of the remaining households that had previously committed to hand over the site.
Currently, the contractor has established the Construction Management Office for Package 18 at the beginning of the route, and has mobilized many machines and human resources to receive the site and start construction with the motto of starting construction as soon as the site is handed over.
A section of the highway has been constructed by the contractor with vehicles and equipment.
Mr. Ho Van Nam, Secretary of Bien Hoa City Party Committee, requested units to focus on propaganda and mobilizing households to hand over land and carry out related procedures in parallel until February 27.
In particular, the City Party Committee leaders assigned the City People's Committee, Party Committees, and authorities of Phuoc Tan and Tam Phuoc wards to coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to conduct a final review of households that have undergone propaganda and mobilization work as well as properly and fully implemented procedures for compensation and support when the State reclaims land.
For households that have completed their documents but do not agree to hand over the land, there will be a compulsory plan starting from March 5 to hand over the land in March.
