Fire rages at a house in Hanoi, 30 people mobilized to the scene

A fire broke out from a house on Co Linh Street (Hanoi), causing panic among residents this evening.

At around 7:40 a.m. on March 17, a large fire broke out on Co Linh Street, Long Bien Ward (Long Bien District).

Flames and smoke erupted from a house at the beginning of lane 206 Co Linh street.

Speaking with VietNamNet reporter, Mr. Ngo Van Nam - Chairman of Long Bien Ward People's Committee said: "The ward has mobilized 30 local fire fighting forces to the scene."

3 fire trucks and professional firefighters were also mobilized to control the fire.

According to Mr. Nam, the fire did not cause any human casualties. The cause of the fire is being investigated by the authorities.
