Body of 11th grade male student found after nearly a week missing

After nearly a week of active searching, authorities found the body of a male student who jumped off a bridge on the Ma River.


At around 7am on March 16, rescuers found the body of an 11th grade male student after nearly a week missing on the Ma River.

On the morning of March 16, authorities found the body of an 11th grade male student after 6 days of missing.

Previously, at around 1:50 p.m. on March 11, people discovered MTH (born in 2008, residing in Nam Ngan ward, Thanh Hoa city) going up Ham Rong bridge over Ma river, in Tao Xuyen ward, Thanh Hoa city, then suddenly jumped into the river.

Upon receiving the news, Thanh Hoa Provincial Police rescue forces arrived at the scene to coordinate with local authorities and people to deploy plans to search for the male student.

After 6 days of searching, on the morning of March 16, the victim's body was found about 200m downstream from Ham Rong Bridge. Authorities are currently handing over the victim's body to his family for burial.
