'New shirt' is wider and more beautiful

In the vision to 2045, the Vietnamese business community is expected to have the scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the national development goals, high income, position and prestige in the region and internationally.

Resolution 41-NQ/TW was issued on the occasion of "Entrepreneurs' Day 2023" with many new contents on viewpoints, orientations and solutions for developing the Vietnamese business community in the coming period, aiming to realize the aspirational goal of making Vietnam a developed country by 2045.

Replacing Resolution 09-NQ/TW issued 12 years ago, in addition to inheriting the remaining valuable contents, the Resolution provides viewpoints, orientations, goals, tasks, and solutions to build and develop the team of entrepreneurs in the current period.

This new beginning has a more complete meaning - to build, honor, and encourage a strong team of entrepreneurs with patriotism, national self-reliance, aspiration to contribute, respect the law, and contribute to the development of a prosperous and happy country.

Currently, the Vietnamese economy has nearly 900,000 enterprises in the private economic sector, together with state-owned enterprises, FDI enterprises, and cooperatives, forming a powerful force promoting the development of the Vietnamese economy, bringing Vietnam's GDP scale into the Top 40 in the world; international trade scale into the Top 20 in the world; Vietnamese products are proud to reach out to the global market, while meeting domestic needs well. People's lives have improved dramatically, with GDP per capita in 2022 reaching 4,110 USD, 48 times higher than in 1986.

Entrepreneurs are the core force that plays the role of leading, managing and operating the country's business community. With the current number of businesses, the number of entrepreneurs who are business leaders has reached 2-3 million people, and if we count all business people and individual business households, the number of entrepreneurs can reach 10 million.

This is a special human resource of the country, playing an important role in industrialization, modernization, building an independent, self-reliant and integrated economy of Vietnam in the new period.

Resolution 41-NQ/TW is like putting on a “new, wider and more beautiful coat”, the Vietnamese business community can freely create, develop and express themselves, as the goal set out in Resolution 41-NQ/TW is “Developing a large business community in terms of quantity, quality, reasonable structure, with vision, intelligence, ethics, entrepreneurial spirit, legitimate enrichment, dynamism, creativity, advanced management capacity, law compliance, ethics, business culture with national identity; with social responsibility, environmental awareness, making worthy contributions to the country's development goals”.

In the vision to 2045, the Vietnamese business community is expected to have the scale, capacity and qualifications to meet the national development goals, high income, regional and international position and prestige; a part of enterprises with world brands, leading a number of global supply chains and value chains.
