Free car repair for people in flooded areas of Vinh Linh

Today, October 30, the team of workers and staff of Head Hieu Thinh Store in Ho Xa town were present at Sa Nam village, Vinh Long commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province to check for free and support 100% of the cost of repairing motorbikes for people in flooded areas.

Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Thuong (Sa Nam village, Vinh Long commune) was very satisfied when he was able to repair his Honda Air Blade motorbike, which is an important vehicle for his family.

“My house is in a deep flooded area, the water is more than 1 meter deep. The flooded motorbike was being pushed to be repaired when the staff of Hieu Thinh shop came to the village to help check, change the oil and air filter. They checked very carefully and only took money for the oil and spare parts. I found the staff to be very enthusiastic, sharing the difficulties with the people in such a difficult time is very good. Thank you very much,” said Mr. Thuong.

Mr. Le Phuoc Bac (Sa Nam village) also just had his flooded motorbike checked and had its oil changed for free. Mr. Bac said that if he took it to a mechanic, it would cost about 200,000 VND, but today the shop staff only charged him 90,000 VND for the oil. This support warmed his heart and that of many other people.

Ms. Le Thi Tuyet, Store Manager of Head Hieu Thinh Store, said that in addition to the damage to houses and property, the flooded motorbikes left people in the flooded areas of Vinh Linh without means of transportation. Understanding that, the store decided to mobilize 5 skilled workers and 5 employees, along with supplies and spare parts to Sa Nam village to support the people.

Motorbikes brought in by people are received by staff and assigned to mechanics for a comprehensive inspection, cleaning of the gas tank, engine... if water has gotten in.

“The store offers free labor for customers, and replacement parts are at cost price. For vehicles that are too damaged to be repaired on site, the staff will transport them to the store for free,” Ms. Tuyet shared.

According to Ms. Tuyet, on October 30, the store supported the repair of about 100 motorbikes of the people. This program will be maintained until November 10. In addition, the store staff also provides mobile repair services in flooded communes in Vinh Linh district.

According to the Chairman of Vinh Long Commune People's Committee, Tran Quoc Luong, the floodwaters caused 600 households in the commune to be submerged, including 3 villages with 460 households. Currently, the water has receded from the commune, and people are cleaning up mud and cleaning their houses to stabilize their lives.
