BHG - Implementing the plan of the National Assembly Standing Committee on implementing the emulation movement to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the first General Election to elect the National Assembly of Vietnam (January 6, 1946 - January 6, 2026) and the plan to summarize the activities of the National Assembly Delegation of Ha Giang province, term XV, term 2021 - 2026, the National Assembly Delegation of term XV of Ha Giang province, led by comrade Ly Thi Lan, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of term XV of Ha Giang province, has just organized activities to return to the source in many localities. Participating in the working delegation were delegates: Pham Thuy Chinh, Vice Chairman of the National Assembly's Economic and Financial Committee; Trang A Duong, Member of the National Assembly, full-time member of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council; Hoang Minh Nhat, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Head of the National Assembly Delegation of term XII; Thao Hong Son, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, former Head of the 13th National Assembly Delegation; Trieu Tai Vinh, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Education Commission, former Head of the 15th Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and other National Assembly Delegates of Ha Giang province in different periods.

Within the framework of the program, the delegation met with leaders of the National Assembly, paid tribute to the National Assembly delegates of Ha Giang delegation of all periods; visited the National Assembly Building, Thang Long Imperial Citadel; visited some relics in Ho Chi Minh City and historical relics in Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

In Con Dao district, the delegation visited and learned about the history at the Con Dao Prison relic site and Con Dao Museum. Listening to the stories helped the delegation to admire the will of the patriotic soldiers, and to be moved by the endurance and sacrifice of generations of fathers and grandfathers with names associated with the history of the Vietnamese revolution such as: Phan Chu Trinh, Le Hong Phong, Ton Duc Thang, Nguyen An Ninh, Vo Thi Sau... and over 20,000 people who fell and remained in the sacred land of Con Dao to protect the revolutionary ideals, each of whom was an example of noble sacrifice and indomitable will against the enemy. Expressing deep gratitude and appreciation, the delegation respectfully offered incense and visited Hang Duong Cemetery.

Through the source activity, delegates will review the historical and traditional significance of the first General Election to elect the Vietnamese National Assembly and meet, encourage, inspire and express gratitude for the contributions of generations of leaders of the National Assembly Delegation and National Assembly Deputies of Ha Giang Province Delegation through the periods.
