Affirming that the career of "growing people" has never been an easy path, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, hopes that each staff and lecturer of the Academy will work together to contribute to building an increasingly developed Academy and an increasingly strong agriculture.

In her speech at the 42nd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, emphasized that over the 68 years of construction and development with a proud tradition, the Academy has made many outstanding contributions to the cause of training human resources, especially high-quality human resources in research and technology transfer, serving the country.

The Academy has been recognized by the Party and the State with noble awards such as the Labor Hero Medal, the Ho Chi Minh Medal and many other medals and titles. These achievements must be attributed to the great contributions of generations of teachers and students of the Academy.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, spoke at the 42nd Anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.

Generations of teachers, staff, and workers of the Academy have made tireless efforts to cultivate and build the Academy with both intelligence and compassion. The Academy has trained tens of thousands of highly qualified engineers, bachelors, veterinarians, masters, and doctors for the country. The Academy has also contributed many scientific and technical advances and valuable plant and animal varieties to the development of the country and the agricultural sector.

From 2014 to present, the Academy has organized 9 Agricultural Startup Competitions, attracting 1,300 projects from hundreds of universities, colleges, high schools, and localities, of which over 50% of the projects are from Academy students.

Over the past 9 years, students of the Academy have won 5 first prizes in the National Startup Competition and many other awards.

Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan, Director of Vietnam National University of Agriculture and representative of the Center for Education Quality Assessment, Vietnam National University, Hanoi awarded the certificate of quality training program to the Faculty of Tourism and Foreign Languages.

"Throughout that history, teachers have not only been the ones imparting knowledge but also the pioneers, creators of knowledge, ready to commit and dedicate themselves for the benefit of learners and the common good of society. The Academy has grown and changed every day, with more spacious facilities, more modernly equipped laboratories, a greener and cleaner environment, better material and spiritual life for staff, higher training quality and employment rate of students - reaching 97% after one year of graduation, the reputation of the Academy has been increasingly enhanced", emphasized Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan.

According to the Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture, in the current context of integration and development, before the requirements of the 4.0 revolution, of the period of strong digital transformation, the role of the intellectual team, the role of teachers, teachers becomes more important than ever. Teachers at universities both perform the duties of a teacher, a teacher, and a scientist, creating and innovating day and night to have new research, serving training, serving society better.

Leaders of Vietnam Academy of Agriculture awarded certificates of merit to groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in recent times.

"Faced with the new challenges of the new period and era, we need to make more efforts in teaching, scientific research, transferring science and technology into production and dedicating ourselves to a bright future for the Academy, actively contributing to the development of agriculture and rural development", Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan sent a message to teachers, staff and civil servants of the Academy.

The Director of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture also hopes that the students of the Academy will have enough capacity and qualities to become good citizens, good officials, good managers and entrepreneurs in the future, with many aspirations to contribute to the development of agriculture and rural development of the country.

Student Nguyen Ba Hoang Long, student of Advanced Plant Science class, Faculty of Agronomy, spoke and presented flowers to thank teachers.

On the occasion of November 20, on behalf of the Academy's leadership, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thi Lan also expressed her deepest gratitude to all generations of teachers, staff, and workers who have been and are dedicating day and night to the noble mission of the Vietnam Academy of Agriculture.

Representative of the Faculty of Fisheries (Vietnam National Academy of Agriculture) received the certificate of quality training program.

At the Vietnam Teachers' Day Celebration, the Center for Education Quality Assessment, Vietnam National University, Hanoi announced the decision and awarded certificates of 10 quality-accredited training programs to 09 faculties: Mechanics - Electricity, Food Technology, Information Technology, Economics and Management, Tourism and Foreign Languages, Agronomy, Aquaculture, Natural Resources and Environment, Social Sciences, which are faculties with quality-accredited training programs.

Vietnam Academy of Agriculture has organized to honor and reward groups and individuals with outstanding achievements in the recent past. This is a source of encouragement and motivation for each officer, civil servant and employee in the Academy to be more proud and love the profession they have chosen - Teaching profession - Cultivating people associated with the training missions of the Academy.
