In the period of 2020 - 205, the Social Policy Bank, An Giang branch, has carried out well the emulation campaign associated with the implementation of political tasks of localities, agencies and units, creating a vibrant emulation atmosphere, contributing to the completion of socio-economic, defense and security goals of the province. Timely advising local Party committees and authorities on implementing social policy credit activities.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, through policy credit programs, more than 175,000 poor households and other policy beneficiaries have been able to borrow capital. Of which, more than 58,000 poor households, near-poor households, and newly escaped-poverty households have borrowed capital for production and business; job creation has contributed to attracting and creating jobs for nearly 30,000 workers; more than 63,000 households have borrowed capital from the rural clean water and environmental sanitation program to build, renovate and repair nearly 63,000 clean water and sanitation works; capital support to cover study expenses for nearly 16,000 students in difficult circumstances to borrow capital for study; nearly 300 poor households have borrowed capital to build houses and over 500 customers have borrowed capital to repair, build new and buy social housing.

The branch has launched 31 emulation movements, recognized the title of advanced worker for 77 groups and 755 individuals, rewarded emulation movements for 582 groups and 3,114 individuals; 53 grassroots initiatives were recognized with 245 participating members.
