DNVN – Dong A University has just held a ceremony to honor students with outstanding achievements in national and international competitions in the 2023-2024 school year, with the participation of leaders of the Department of Education and Training of the City, the Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang; parents, students and all lecturers of the school.
Dong A University (DAU) said that in the 2023-2024 academic year, 45 students of the school won 34 awards in 15 domestic and international competitions. Notably, a group of 3 students from the Korean Language Department won the first prize at the 28th K-Speech World Korean Speaking Contest held in Laos on August 16.

These are also the 3 outstanding faces in the "12th K-Speech Korean Speech Contest" held in Ho Chi Minh City on June 1st, thereby officially becoming the representatives of Vietnam to participate in the 28th K-Speech World Korean Speech Contest.
In national competitions, early last August, two students from the Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture, Dong A University, also excellently won the championship and runner-up positions at the 7th JLAN-Test Cup National Japanese Speaking Contest held in Da Nang with their inspirational stories, "inspiring" learning motivation, Japanese speaking ability and dignified stage manner.
In addition, there are also gold and bronze prizes in the 2024 Vietnam - Gyeongsangbuk-do Korean Speech Contest of Korean Language students; the National Student Math Olympiad prize of students of the Faculty of Information Technology...
In art and sports activities, Dong A University students also excelled by winning the "Excellent Program" award at the 10th National Mass Arts Festival of the Armed Forces, Youth and Students in 2024 - Region II; the championship of the 2023 National Student Volleyball Championship - Central region...
According to Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training of Da Nang, Pham Tan Ngoc Thuy, during the process of formation and development, Dong A University has gradually affirmed its name in the fields of training, especially cooperation with many corporations and universities in the region and around the world.
In recent years, Dong A University students have achieved many results in national, regional and international exams and competitions, thereby gradually affirming the position and training quality of the school. Many high school students have chosen to study at Dong A University.
It is expected that in the 2024-2025 school year and the following school years, many students from high schools in Da Nang and the Central Highlands will continue to study at Dong A University.
