The Costa Serena cruise ship departed from Hong Kong (China) to Ha Long (Vietnam) with nearly 3,500 passengers, and docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port at 8:00 a.m. on September 30.
This is the first cruise ship of the 2024-2025 international cruise season and is considered one of the largest international cruise ships to visit Ha Long Bay in 2024, creating an important mark for the local tourism industry. Today, visitors will visit Ha Long Bay, city tour to explore local culture and cuisine.

It is known that the Costa Serena ship regularly brings international tourists to tourist destinations in Vietnam: in May 2023, the ship brought 2,600 international tourists to visit Phu Quoc pearl island and in February 2024, the ship once again docked in Phu Quoc with more than 1,000 tourists and crew.
Costa Serena is one of the largest cruise ships of Costa Cruises (Italy), famous for its journeys in Asia, especially Southeast Asia. The ship is up to 290.2m long and 35.5m wide with a huge capacity. The ship provides many high-class amenities such as swimming pools, luxury restaurants, water parks, gyms, and entertainment areas for children and adults.
According to the plan, from now until the end of the year, Ha Long International Passenger Port is expected to welcome about 16 large cruise ships from world-famous corporations and brands such as Mein Schiff 6, Celebrity Solstice, Noordam, bringing thousands of international tourists from Europe, America and China.
