Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association awards prizes for the 2024 journalism contest

(CLO) On the afternoon of March 11, in Ha Long city, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association solemnly held an award ceremony for the 2024 journalism contest; 27 journalism works by excellent authors and groups of authors received awards.

In 2024, along with advising on organizing the Local Press Awards and mobilizing journalist members to participate in press competitions and awards organized by the Central Government and Ministries, Branches, and Organizations, the Quang Ninh Provincial Journalists Association launched many press work competitions.

Leaders of Hopoij Journalists of Quang Ninh province and leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Ninh province presented awards to the winning authors.

The press work competitions are all related to the province's 2024 work theme, including 2 groups of themes "Improving the quality of economic growth in Quang Ninh province" and "Developing culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity".

Specifically, including the press photo contest with the theme "Yen Tu Heritage 2024 - Touching the heritage area"; "Press accompanies the development of Quang Ninh province" and the photo contest with the theme "Beautiful moments for a green Ha Long".

The press works have reflected achievements in socio-economic development, promoted historical and cultural values; contributed to raising awareness and sense of responsibility of all levels, sectors, localities, people and tourists in preserving and promoting the value of the wonder, world natural heritage of Ha Long Bay and other scenic spots of the province.

The results of the Journalism Contest on the theme "Improving the quality of economic growth in Quang Ninh province" had 55 works submitted by authors and groups of authors inside and outside the province; of which 11 works were excellent.

The photojournalism contest with the theme “Developing culture and people rich in Quang Ninh identity” had 34 works submitted by authors and groups of authors; 9 works were excellent. The photojournalism contest with the theme “Yen Tu Heritage 2024 - Touching the heritage area” had 44 works submitted by authors and groups of authors; 7 works were excellent.

The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the winning authors and groups of authors (first, second, third and consolation prizes).
