This is the assessment of Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam at the reception of the Netherlands Senior Experts (PUM) organization led by Mr. Sven Dekker - National Coordinator of PUM organization in Vietnam during his visit to Quang Tri province on March 18.
At the meeting, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of PUM and Mr. Sven Dekker over the past 6 years. PUM's programs have helped increase the value of agricultural products of local people, develop community tourism activities based on local advantages, and apply new technology to production to help people and businesses catch up with new market trends.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam hopes that in the coming time, PUM and its successor will continue to accompany and support businesses to develop through training programs, capacity building, especially the development and connection of products made from medicinal plants and local agricultural products to the Dutch and European markets.
The leaders of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee also requested PUM to continue to accompany and develop local human resource training programs, thereby creating opportunities for young human resources to access new knowledge and new methods in many fields from Dutch experts.
Mr. Sven Dekker - National Coordinator of PUM in Vietnam said that PUM has implemented cooperation programs to support business capacity building in Quang Tri since 2019 with over 10 programs. Recently, PUM has continued to coordinate consulting organizations on business building and governance to operate the Sustainable Forest Management and Forest Certification Training Center. Here, Mr. Sven Dekker also introduced Mr. Bert Jan Post - the successor to the position of National Coordinator of PUM in Vietnam in the next term.
On this occasion, Vice Chairman of Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee Hoang Nam awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee to Mr. Sven Dekker for his positive contributions and support to individuals and businesses in Quang Tri province over the past 6 years, in the period of 2019-2025.

It is known that PUM is an agency under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. PUM has implemented cooperation programs to support business capacity building in Quang Tri since 2019 with over 10 capacity building training programs and startup incubator programs implemented by 7 senior consultants from the Netherlands.
Through the support of PUM, businesses in the province have been provided with a lot of knowledge from basic to modern in production and business activities, improving business management capacity in the fields of agriculture, livestock, agricultural tourism development, and community tourism.
Some outstanding programs in Quang Tri province include: "Startup Incubator" program to support human resource training in the province. Support the development of community ecotourism in Huong Hoa district. Introduce basic knowledge about organization, management, exploitation and operation of community tourism models, agricultural tourism...
