The contract to supply Vietnamese workers to work as nursing assistants in Germany will create opportunities for qualified candidates to improve their skills in the nursing industry and create conditions for long-term work in Germany. After signing, the program will be implemented in a non-profit form, helping workers participating in the program when working in the Federal Republic of Germany to be arranged jobs in the right profession, have stable income, and be guaranteed social benefits like German citizens. Notably, Vietnamese workers will not need to participate in vocational training courses, helping to save time and costs.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan acknowledged and highly appreciated the long-term diplomatic relations and cooperation between Vietnam and Germany, especially in the fields of labor, employment and vocational training, which have achieved many good results.

Since 2015, the Overseas Labor Center has cooperated with Vivantes to select and send 916 nurses to study and work in Germany. This result has contributed positively to the cooperation in the field of labor migration, creating an important mark on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
