On the morning of March 17, in Cam Ranh City, Khanh Hoa Province, the Naval Region 4 Command in coordination with the Naval Museum, National Archives Center 4, and Hanoi Photo Club opened an exhibition with the theme: "Hoang Sa, Truong Sa - Fatherland at the forefront" and "Heroic Vietnam People's Navy - 70 years of journey to protect the sea".
Practical exhibition to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Truong Sa archipelago (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2025); 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025) and 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025).
The exhibition displays many valuable documents, images and artifacts reflecting the history of Vietnam's sovereignty over the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos and the process of fighting to protect and maintain sovereignty over seas and islands, and the spirit of readiness to fight to protect the territory and territorial waters of the Vietnamese army and people.

The exhibition also highlights the feats and achievements of the Vietnam People's Navy in 70 years of building, fighting, winning, growing and advancing towards regularization and modernization.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Colonel Nguyen Huu Minh, Deputy Political Commissar of Naval Region 4, emphasized: Through the exhibition, we continue to build confidence and pride in the glorious traditions of the nation, the Army, the Navy and Naval Region 4 for officers, soldiers and people. At the same time, the exhibition is also an opportunity for officers, soldiers and people to pay tribute to generations of officers and soldiers who have devoted and sacrificed for the cause of protecting the sacred sovereignty of the sea and islands of the Fatherland.
The exhibition will take place on March 17 and 18.
