Grasping and deeply responding to this message, in 2021, Nam Cau Kien - Pioneering Eco-Industrial Park, launched the Tree Planting movement through the program "Tree Planting Festival 2021".
Following the success of that program, this year, Shinec Joint Stock Company continues to organize the "Tree Planting Festival 2024". The festival not only continues to contribute to the National 1 Billion Tree Planting Program, but also aims to create a strong ripple effect to the business community, entrepreneurs and workers nationwide.

At the event, Shinec Joint Stock Company planted nearly 1,000 trees of various types. Of which, there are 15 banyan trees, 200 trumpet trees, 400 grapefruit trees, and 400 mango trees. In 2024, to complete the entire green landscape in Nam Cau Kien Industrial Park and "package" Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park products according to ESG (environment, society, governance) orientation, Shinec Joint Stock Company will plant a total of more than 3,000 trees of various types. Thereby, continuing to increase the green area in Nam Cau Kien Eco-Industrial Park to exceed the current rate of 31%.

“By continuing to increase the proportion of trees and other emission reduction measures, we are working with secondary investors and partners to build, develop, and enjoy green space right in Nam Cau Kien. Together, we aim to be carbon neutral by 2030,” said Mr. Pham Hong Diep, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company at the festival.
This year’s program also has a special meaning - as the tree planting area is in the garden of the memorial house of General Vo Nguyen Giap. This is the opening event for a series of events to inaugurate the “General Vo Nguyen Giap Cultural Space” in Nam Cau Kien at the end of April 2024.
