The investor selected to invest in the Km594+400 rest stop of the North-South Expressway Eastern Component Project, Vung Ang - Bung section is the investor of the rest stop on the Cao Bo - Mai Son Expressway.

The Director of the Vietnam Expressway Administration has just signed a decision approving the results of selecting investors for the Km594+400 rest stop project under the Vung Ang - Bung component project on the North - South expressway, Eastern section.
This rest stop has an area of about 5 hectares, located in Quang Chau commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province.
Accordingly, the winning investor is Xuan Khiem Group Joint Stock Company with the value in cash paid to the state budget of 38.9 billion VND (Thirty-eight billion, nine hundred million VND); the preliminary cost of project implementation is 314.734 billion VND; the value of compensation, support, and resettlement is 21.919 billion VND).
The investment project for the Km594+400 rest stop construction project has an overall progress of 12 months, of which the time to complete public service construction items is 9 months. The project exploitation time after completing the investment work is 25 years.
Project Management Board 6, as the inviting party, is assigned to, based on the results of investor selection approved in Article 1 of this Decision, organize the implementation of the next steps in compliance with the provisions of the Law on Bidding and Decree No. 115/2024/ND-CP.
During the implementation process, Project Management Board 6 noted to negotiate with the winning investor to shorten the progress of public works to the maximum to serve the essential needs of people and vehicles participating in traffic on the route and other noted contents stated in the Appraisal Report of the Legal - Bidding Department, Vietnam Expressway Administration.
Up to now, 13/21 planned rest stops on the North-South expressway in the East have found investors, of which Petrolimex won 6 projects.
If the Km594+400 rest stop project is successfully implemented, this will be the second North-South expressway rest stop of Xuan Khiem Group.
Currently, this unit has been operating the Xuan Khiem rest stop on the North-South expressway, East section, Cao Bo - Mai Son.
