In the autumn sunshine, the wallflowers are blooming, bright pink, creating a highlight for the model residential area at the end of Ha Tinh to the Southwest.
La Khe village (Huong Trach commune, Huong Khe district) is located at the end of Ha Tinh province to the southwest, bordering Quang Binh province.
Although it is a remote area, with mostly hills and mountains, and harsh weather all year round, La Khe is quite developed. 100% of the roads in the village have been concreted, with green fences and flowers blooming all over the path.
In particular, at the inter-family group No. 3, since 2020, people have planted wallflowers to make green fences. After only 3 years of care, the wallflowers have now grown green and become the most beautiful road in the village and one of the most poetic roads in Huong Trach commune and Huong Khe district.
La Khe village chief Nguyen Van Bang shared: The model of growing wallflowers has received high consensus from the inter-family groups. Since its launch, people have focused on planting and caring for them, thanks to which the flowers have grown well and evenly, creating a beautiful flower path, highlighting the landscape of the model residential area.
Wallflowers are quite easy to grow and care for. They are woody plants that can grow up to 2m tall. Normally, the flowering season lasts for 2-3 months, during the summer and lasts until autumn. During this time, people will regularly water the plants to keep them healthy and the flowers more vibrant.
The wallflower road has hundreds of flower trees with a length of about 300m, upgrading the appearance of the model residential area.
Wallflowers will bloom in clusters, each cluster usually has many flowers, growing on dense branches.

Wallflowers also make the summer less hot, the countryside becomes more peaceful and relaxed. It is known that currently, some other inter-family groups are also replicating the wallflower road model throughout La Khe village.
