Vegetable prices in Hai Duong City doubled after storm number 3

Many vegetable areas in the province were damaged after storm No. 3, causing the prices of many types of green vegetables to double.

Specifically, water spinach is 15,000-20,000 VND/bunch, Malabar spinach is 15,000 VND/bunch, and Malabar spinach is 20,000 VND/bunch. Some tubers and fruits also increased in price, such as squash and gourd at 22,000-25,000 VND/kg, an increase of 7,000-15,000 VND/kg compared to before the storm.

The reason for the increase in vegetable prices is that storm No. 3 has damaged many vegetable areas in the province. According to many traders, vegetable prices may continue to increase in the coming days and will likely last for 20-25 days when many vegetable areas cannot recover.

Many other foods keep prices stable after the storm

Prices of other foods such as pork, beef, seafood, and aquatic products remain basically stable compared to before storm No. 3. Specifically, pork ranges from 100,000-150,000 VND/kg depending on the type, beef from 270,000-320,000 VND/kg, hybrid chicken (2.5-3kg/head) from 70,000-80,000 VND/kg, carp (1.5-2kg/head) from 50,000-55,000 VND/kg, tiger prawns from 400,000-500,000 VND/kg...
