Launching Khanh Hoa Agarwood Cultural Heritage Space

Delegates cut the ribbon to open the exhibition "Khanh Hoa Agarwood Cultural Heritage Space".

“Khanh Hoa Agarwood Cultural Heritage Space” is located in the premises of the Provincial Museum (No. 16 Tran Phu, Nha Trang City), with 5 booths introducing and displaying products and items typical of Khanh Hoa agarwood craft such as: Fine art items made from agarwood; incense sticks from agarwood raw materials; agarwood ornamental products; health care products from agarwood essential oil; drinks soaked with agarwood... Thereby, to honor the value of the traditional agarwood craft with all the sophistication, meticulousness, and dexterity of artisans in the province.

This is also a place for agarwood processing and production facilities, artisans, and agarwood workers to exchange, learn, and gain more skills and experience of the traditional agarwood profession in Khanh Hoa - the land of Agarwood. Khanh Hoa agarwood space is also expected to be a place for people and tourists to visit and buy agarwood products of good quality, with guaranteed origin. "Khanh Hoa agarwood cultural heritage space" is expected to be open to welcome visitors until the end of the official time of the Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa Sea Festival 2025 (June 9).

Before the opening ceremony of the exhibition "Khanh Hoa Agarwood Cultural Heritage Space", Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Dinh Van Thieu and delegates came to offer incense to Thien YA Na Thanh Mau at the special national relic of Ponagar Tower on the occasion of the agarwood industry's death anniversary (2nd-3rd lunar month). With a sincere heart, the delegates reviewed the tradition and history of the agarwood industry. Accordingly, those who follow the agarwood industry have honored Thien YA Na Thanh Mau as the founder of the profession and chosen the 2nd-3rd lunar month every year as the death anniversary. This is an opportunity for agarwood workers to meet, exchange production and business experiences and commemorate the merits of Thien YA Na Thanh Mau.
