Brigade 162 coordinated to examine and provide free medicine to nearly 1,000 people.

The program was attended by 50 doctors, nurses, pharmacists who are members of the Ho Chi Minh City Volunteer Club, along with military medical staff and officers and soldiers of Brigade 162. The delegation performed internal medicine examinations, abdominal ultrasounds, glucose quantification, electrocardiograms, bone density measurements, health consultations and provided free medicine to local people.

This is the second time the units and localities have coordinated to implement the program. Thereby, practically aiming to celebrate the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of Truong Sa Archipelago (April 29, 1975 - April 29, 2025), the 70th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Navy (May 7, 1955 - May 7, 2025), welcoming the 12th Congress of the Party Committee of Naval Region 4, term 2025 - 2030. Besides, contributing to strengthening and tightening the relationship of military-civilian solidarity, spreading the spirit of mutual love, sharing love, concretizing the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind".
