Quang Nam completes and submits Project for Development and Formation of Medicinal Materials Industry Center
Quang Nam has completed and just submitted to the Prime Minister for approval the Project "Developing and forming a medicinal plant industry center in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the main crop".

The People's Committee of Quang Nam province has just requested the Government Office to pay attention and soon submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval the Project "Developing and forming a medicinal plant industry center in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the main crop".
According to the People's Committee of Quang Nam province, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long has directed the People's Committee of Quang Nam province to preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries, branches and People's Committees of provinces and cities to continue reviewing, researching and receiving opinions to complete the Project.
In particular, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long requested to clarify the political, legal and practical basis for the development and submission to the Prime Minister for approval of the Project, paying attention to clarifying the organizational and operational model and legal regulations, mechanisms and policies applicable to the Quang Nam Provincial Medicinal Materials Industry Center; reviewing and synthesizing mechanisms and policies according to current regulations; at the same time, researching and proposing new, appropriate and specific mechanisms and policies (including proposals to the Government and the National Assembly according to their authority) to promote development, promote the advantages and potential of the Province and the region in medicinal materials with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as the key crop; clarifying proposals on implementation resources (including funding sources from the central and local state budgets, capital sources from national target programs, programs and projects in the area, resources contributed by enterprises, people and other legal funding sources...); responsibilities of relevant ministries, branches and localities in implementing the Project.
To implement this request, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province has studied, received and completed the Project as requested and has a report explaining the explanation and receiving comments on the draft Project "Developing and forming a Center for Medicinal Plant Industry in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as the main crop" and the Submission on the proposal to approve the Project to submit to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
In the Transfer Notice No. 3279/PC-VPCP dated December 14, 2024 of the Government Office, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province is requested to urgently study, receive and explain the opinions of the Ministries and Provincial People's Committees, complete the Project, the Draft Decision of the Prime Minister approving the Project, and report to the Prime Minister before December 31, 2024.
On December 26, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Nam studied, received and completed the Project as requested and issued Report No. 288/BC-UBND on explaining and receiving comments on the draft Project and Submission No. 10132/TTr-UBND on the proposal to approve the Project "Developing and forming a Center for Medicinal Materials Industry in Quang Nam Province with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as the main crop" to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
In the Transfer Notice No. 3421/PC-VPCP dated December 27, 2024 of the Government Office, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province is requested to urgently study, receive and explain the opinions of the People's Committee of Da Nang City, the People's Committee of Dak Lak province and the People's Committee of Gia Lai province to complete the Project, the Draft Decision of the Prime Minister approving the Project, and report to the Prime Minister before December 31, 2024.
On December 31, 2024, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province studied, received and completed the Project as requested and issued Report No. 295/BC-UBND on explaining and receiving additional comments on the draft Project "Developing and forming a Center for Medicinal Materials Industry in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as the main crop" and Submission No. 10313/TTr-UBND on the proposal to approve the Project "Developing and forming a Center for Medicinal Materials Industry in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh Ginseng as the main crop" to the Prime Minister, Deputy Prime Minister Le Thanh Long.
Up to now, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province has deployed and researched to ensure the required contents. Therefore, the People's Committee of the province requests the Government Office to pay attention and promptly submit to the Prime Minister for consideration and approval of the Project "Development and formation of a medicinal plant industry center in Quang Nam province with Ngoc Linh ginseng as the main crop".
