Buddha's Birthday is one of the important holidays of Buddhism, solemnly held to honor Buddha Shakyamuni. Joining the atmosphere of celebrating Buddha's Birthday across the country, on the evening of May 15, at Dai Bi Pagoda, Dong Ve Ward (Thanh Hoa City), the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee held the Buddha's Birthday Ceremony of Buddhist calendar 2568 - Gregorian calendar 2024.

At the ceremony, the Provincial Buddhist Sangha Executive Committee held a Buddha recitation ceremony, prayed for national peace and offered flowers to celebrate Buddha's birthday. At the same time, they conveyed to monks, nuns and Buddhists throughout the province the Buddha's birthday message of Buddhist calendar 2568 from the Supreme Patriarch of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha and the Buddha's birthday speech of Buddhist calendar 2568 from the Most Venerable President of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha Executive Council.

War makes humanity, which is already suffering, even more suffering; hatred follows hatred; people have to live in insecurity and fear. More than ever, we respect and strive to practice the precious teachings of the Buddha in building a peaceful, humane and ethical world.
