(GLO)- The People's Committee of Gia Lai province has just issued Decision No. 429/QD-UBND approving the Project "Developing the health system of Gia Lai province to 2030".
Accordingly, the total cost of implementing the Project is 3,896.76 billion VND, of which public investment capital is 2,729.92 billion VND, career capital is 1,116.84 billion VND, and other legally mobilized capital is 50 billion VND. The implementation of the Project "Developing the health system of Gia Lai province to 2030" will contribute to building and developing a modern and synchronous health care career in Gia Lai province, ensuring that all people receive continuous and comprehensive health care, in line with the socio-economic development goals of the province; focusing on improving both physical and mental health, stature, longevity, and quality of life of the people of all ethnic groups in the province.

In addition, during the implementation of the Project, resources will be mobilized to focus on investment in improving the quality of health care services, developing specialized health care to meet the increasingly high and diverse health care needs of people in the province, neighboring provinces and tourists. Ensuring that people in remote, border areas and ethnic minorities of the province have access to quality health services.
The Provincial People's Committee assigns the Director of the Department of Health to preside over and coordinate with the Directors of the Departments of Home Affairs, Planning and Investment, Finance, relevant departments and localities to effectively implement the Project. During the implementation process, if it is deemed necessary to amend or supplement the contents of the activities and budget in the Project, the Department of Health shall preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches and units to develop an adjustment plan suitable to the actual situation of the locality to submit to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and decision.
