Launching a campaign for the whole population to practice swimming to prevent drowning

BTO-On the morning of June 30, the Culture - Sports and Broadcasting Center of Tanh Linh district coordinated with the Department of Education and Training, the District Youth Union to organize the opening ceremony of summer, Children's Olympic Day and launch a campaign for the whole population to practice swimming to prevent drowning in 2023.

More than 500 students from primary and secondary schools in Lac Tanh town, Duc Thuan commune participated.

In order to further promote the mass movement to exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho, to encourage children to actively participate in physical exercise, sports, and entertainment to improve their health, physical strength, and stature, to cultivate moral qualities, personality, comprehensive development, and swimming skills to prevent drowning accidents.

Immediately after the opening ceremony, students participated in answering questions related to swimming and received prizes from the organizers. They were also instructed in drowning prevention and first aid skills.
