In 2023, the number of visitors to Binh Thuan is higher than in previous years. As of 11 months of 2023, Binh Thuan is estimated to welcome 7.9 million visitors, an increase of 54.41% over the same period in 2022, of which international visitors are estimated to welcome nearly 238 thousand, tourism revenue in 11 months reached nearly 20,505 billion VND, an increase of 69.11% over the same period last year. This figure further confirms the huge growth in the number of tourists coming to Binh Thuan, especially after hosting the National Tourism Year 2023, "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence" and opening the Dau Giay - Phan Thiet expressway, helping to shorten the travel time of tourists to Binh Thuan. The increasing number of visitors to Binh Thuan also creates more jobs for local workers, thereby contributing to the economic restructuring, solving employment for workers, improving people's lives, promoting socio-economic development of the province. This growth rate has been achieved in addition to the attention of provincial leaders, businesses have flexibly adapted, finding solutions to attract visitors. Promoting and promoting tourism development associated with the deployment of digital technology, smart tourism systems to serve tourism promotion, ensuring convenience, attractiveness, attracting a large number of visitors from the provinces to Binh Thuan for sightseeing and relaxation. In particular, the biggest difficulty is still the resources for investing in tourism infrastructure, planning management and development investment, improving the capacity of managing tourist destinations... To effectively implement the work of managing destinations, in the coming time, Binh Thuan province will continue to deploy the plan to implement the Tourism Development Projects for the period of 2021 - 2025, with a vision to 2030, ensuring professionalism, modernity and sustainable development, according to the laws of the market economy and international integration. Selectively mobilize resources to focus on investing in tourism infrastructure in a synchronous, focused and key direction at tourist areas and spots in the area. Increase support for businesses to build and develop new and different products and services, exploit the advantages of scenic spots, historical relics, national and international events to attract domestic and foreign tourists. At the same time, carry out digital transformation in the tourism industry, apply information technology, digitize service data information. Continue to effectively implement the regulations on coordination of tourism management activities in the province, mobilize management participation from the business community, people and tourists.
