Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung holds the position of Rector of Quy Nhon University

In his acceptance speech, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung expressed his deep gratitude to the leaders of the Ministry of Education and Training and the school leaders for their trust and entrustment of this important responsibility. He pledged to be more proactive and creative in management, decisive in direction and operation, closely following reality, covering the work... towards successfully implementing a strong autonomy roadmap, affirming the reputation and position of the school in the university education system and the whole society.

"I have outlined a separate action plan for the school in the coming time. This program is the orientations and solutions that are both basic and urgent, clearly shown in the strategic development plan of Quy Nhon University for the period 2025 - 2030. Accordingly, the school will focus on reviewing, adjusting, and supplementing the staff planning associated with training and fostering work to improve the quality of the teaching staff and management staff, meeting the standards of university education institutions according to Circular 01/2024 of the Ministry of Education and Training", said Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung.

Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung was born in 1975, graduated and received his engineer, master's and doctorate degrees in electrical engineering from Hanoi University of Science and Technology; did post-doctoral research in Italy and received medium-term training according to Conclusion 39 of the Politburo on leadership and management skills in New Zealand.

Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung achieved the title of Associate Professor specializing in electrical engineering in 2019.

Before being recognized as the Rector of Quy Nhon University, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung held the following positions: Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Head of the Department of Facilities and Vice Rector of Quy Nhon University. In addition, Associate Professor, Dr. Doan Duc Tung is currently a delegate of the 13th term People's Council of Binh Dinh province for the 2021-2026 term.
