On October 11, 2024, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province held a Conference to summarize the work of mobilizing the "For the Poor" Fund and the Social Security Program in Tien Giang province in 2024; at the same time, implementing the "Peak Month for the Poor" from October 17 to November 18, 2024. On this occasion, authorized by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex), Tien Giang Petroleum Company awarded 5 billion VND in support to build 100 houses for poor households with housing difficulties in Tien Giang province.
Attending the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Deputy Standing Committee of the Provincial "For the Poor" Fund Mobilization Committee; representatives of leaders of agencies, departments, businesses and philanthropists in the province.
Mr. Phan Thanh Tam, Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Tien Giang, was authorized by the Vietnam National Petroleum Group to present 5 billion VND to support house building for poor households with housing difficulties at the Conference.
At the ceremony, authorized by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group, Chairman and Director of Petrolimex Tien Giang Phan Thanh Tam presented 5 billion VND to support the construction of 100 houses for poor households with housing difficulties in Tien Giang province. Thereby, expressing the deep affection of the collective Leadership, employees and workers of Petrolimex towards those in difficult circumstances, contributing to promoting the movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor, leaving no one behind" launched by the Prime Minister and actively responding to the emulation movement of the whole country joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses from now until 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Huynh Van Hai, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Tien Giang province, sincerely thanked the leaders and employees of the Vietnam National Petroleum Group and Tien Giang Petroleum Company. The contributions and active support of Petrolimex and philanthropists are a great source of motivation in the emulation movement "The whole country joins hands for the poor - leaving no one behind"; contributing to the success of the campaign to mobilize and support the "Fund for the Poor" to increase resources for poverty reduction in Tien Giang province.
