Yesterday afternoon (May 8), the People's Council of Da Lat City, term XII, 2021 - 2026, held the 9th session, the 2nd thematic session in 2023 to review, give opinions and conduct personnel work under its authority.
Mr. Dang Quang Tu (holding flowers) was elected Chairman of Da Lat City People's Committee.
At this session, Mr. Dang Quang Tu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Lat City Party Committee, Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Council was elected as Chairman of the Da Lat City People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term with 30/30 votes in favor, reaching 100%.
Before becoming the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Lat City Party Committee, Mr. Dang Quang Tu held the position of Head of the Organization Committee of the Da Lat City Party Committee.
The People's Council of Da Lat City also approved the proposal to dismiss Mr. Ton Thien San, former Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Lat City, from the duties of the People's Council of Da Lat XII, term 2021 - 2026, because from April 2023 he was transferred to work as Director of the Department of Planning and Investment of Lam Dong province and Colonel Nguyen Tan Vu, former Head of Da Lat City Police, was transferred to work as Head of Bao Loc City Police.
