Foodex Japan Fair held in Japan helps connect with countries in Asia and the world, creating cooperation opportunities for businesses and individuals related to the food industry.

To be present at this prestigious fair, Van Phan fish sauce in Nghe An has undergone a careful selection process of documents, meeting strict criteria, especially food safety criteria set forth by the fair.

In 2024, the fair is scheduled to be held from March 5-8 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight).

When participating in the Foodex Japan Fair, manufacturers and businesses must comply with strict product/goods principles and conditions such as: Products must meet food safety regulations of Japan and the exporting country. The factors to meet include strict regulations and standards on ingredients, origin, processing, preservation and transportation of products.

Products must have full certificates and documents related to quality and food safety. Documents include: certificate of conformity, certificate of origin, certificate of quality and food safety; Products must have clear, transparent and public information about ingredients, usage, preservation and expiry date. In particular, this information must appear on product labels and other sponsorship documents.

The above conditions must be strictly followed to ensure product safety and quality, consumer health and increase the reputation of the Foodex Fair.

In 2023, the fair was held on March 7-10 at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center (Tokyo Big Sight) with a scale of 3,150 booths and 68,000 attendees. As the result of more than 10 years of dedicated research, study and cooperation with the most prestigious food group in Japan, Van Phan fish sauce is the first and only traditional fish sauce product line on the market that ensures the Histamine content (a substance that causes itching and allergies) at a level below 400 ppm (mg/l) - meeting the standards compared to the regulations of Codex (International Food Standards Committee) on the Histamine content allowed in fish sauce.
