Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc has just submitted a resignation letter from her role as a member of the Board of Directors of Saigon Thuong Tin Real Estate Joint Stock Company (TTC Land).

Ms. Huynh Bich Ngoc said that she could no longer continue her duties due to personal reasons. Therefore, she asked the shareholders' meeting and the Board of Directors to allow her to resign from this role from April 23.

Previously, Ms. Ngoc was appointed as Chairman of TTC Land at the end of April 2022. At the same time, her son - Dang Hong Anh was also elected as Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TTC Land.

Born in 1962, Ms. Ngoc is also known in the business world as the "sugar queen" when she held the position of Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Thanh Cong - Bien Hoa Company (SBT). She is also the wife of Mr. Dang Van Thanh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Thanh Thanh Cong Group (TTC Group). Currently, she still holds the role of Permanent Vice Chairwoman and General Director of TTC Group.

In addition to Ms. Ngoc, two other members of the TTC Land Board of Directors also resigned this time, Mr. Hoang Manh Tien and Ms. Tran Diep Phuong Nhi. At the annual meeting on April 23, the company plans to submit to the shareholders' meeting to elect two additional members, Mr. Le Quang Vu and Pham Trung Kien.

The upcoming change in senior personnel is said to be in line with TTC Land's future development strategy. Accordingly, the company aims to expand its industrial real estate and logistics sector in the southern market by 2030.

TTC Land believes that this segment will help the company continue to expand its strategic development cycle in a stable and sustainable manner in the context that many businesses are interested in Vietnam as a new destination to expand production outside of China. Industrial real estate is also forecast to grow at least twice in 10 years.

Established in 2004, TTC Land has developed many residential and commercial real estate projects in Ho Chi Minh City. This year, the company aims to achieve revenue of VND705 billion, up 90% compared to 2023, and pre-tax profit of VND16 billion, equivalent to last year.
