Southern female guerilla puts university on hold, holds AK gun to participate in training parade to celebrate Dien Bien Phu Victory

At the National Military Training Center 4 (Mieu Mon, Hanoi), the Southern female guerrillas marched to participate in the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory. Notably, many Southern female guerrillas put their university degrees on hold to participate in the training.

On March 22, at the National Military Training Center 4 (My Duc district, Hanoi), the Parade and Marching Subcommittee organized joint training for armed forces participating in the parade and marching at the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024).
Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army - Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Tan Cuong attended and directed the joint training at National Military Training Center 4 (Mieu Mon, Hanoi).
According to the latest information, the parade block (including 4 honor guard blocks, 24 army blocks, militia and self-defense forces, and police) and the parade block (including 9 veteran blocks, youth volunteers, frontline workers, workers, farmers, intellectuals, youth, women, and ethnic groups in the Northwest) and finally the performance of the art block.
In 18 groups representing the military branches of the Vietnam People's Army participating in the joint training of armed forces participating in the parade at the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), the Southern female guerrilla group has 92 soldiers.
Most of the members of the Southern female guerilla bloc are in their twenties, recruited from 22 districts, towns and cities in Ho Chi Minh City.
Southern girls in traditional Vietnamese costumes and checkered scarves have portrayed "brave ladies" who are good at national affairs and housework.
Talking to the Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, female guerrilla Pham Quynh Tram Anh (HCMC) shared: "I am a third-year student at Van Hien University. I decided to put my studies on hold to participate in the parade. I really love the military environment and am proud to be selected to participate in the program."
According to research, previously, the Southern Female Guerrilla Bloc had undergone more than 2 months of training in hot weather, then moved to the National Military Training Center 4 - Mieu Mon (Hanoi) to continue training in phase 2 and phase 3 of joint training, preliminary rehearsal, general rehearsal and performing official tasks with the armed forces participating in the parade and marching in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory in Dien Bien province on May 7, 2024.
The leaders of the Military Region 7 Command also asked each female militia soldier to continue to overcome all difficulties in weather, new training locations, organize training for the next stages, and ensure the highest quality. The marching and training process must be absolutely safe; each individual must always unite and support each other in all tasks.
Talking to Dan Viet reporters, most of the female guerrillas from the South who participated in the training expressed their pride at being part of the force participating in the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory. Female guerrillas from the South, Phan Le Quynh Nhu, excitedly said that despite the change in weather, they gradually adapted and always upheld their sense of responsibility to successfully complete this mission.
Female soldier Pham Hoang Yen Nhi (3rd year student of Ho Chi Minh City University of Law) said: "This is a very suitable time for me. Because 10 years ago I was too young to participate, and 10 years later I am too old. Therefore, this year I have temporarily put my studies on hold to participate in the parade to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu victory."
Most of the soldiers in the group are students from universities in Ho Chi Minh City and some have graduated from university. For female soldiers who have graduated from university, participating in the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory Ceremony can be arranged by themselves. However, for students who are still studying, they must request to reserve their study results to be able to participate in the mission.
