Volunteering to return to the grassroots and being assigned to work at Pho Chau Town Police (Huong Son - Ha Tinh), Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh is always proactive, completing assigned tasks well, becoming the "connecting thread" between the people, authorities at all levels and local police.
As an officer working at the Social Order Administrative Management Police Team of Huong Son District Police, in 2020, when the Provincial Police implemented the policy of sending regular police to communes of the Ministry of Public Security, realizing that this was a good opportunity to train, experience, and gradually mature, policewoman Doan Thanh Binh, who was then a Lieutenant, wrote a volunteer application to return to the base and was assigned to work at Pho Chau Town Police. Since then, Ms. Doan Thanh Binh has been the only female commune-level police officer in Huong Son District.

In the first days of working at the base, although she was mentally prepared, having to approach a new job, interacting with many people and unexpected situations made female soldier Doan Thanh Binh inevitably feel bewildered and have difficulties. However, with a sense of responsibility and eagerness to learn at work, Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh quickly "got into the rhythm", got acquainted with the base and gradually gained the trust and satisfaction of the people.
“When I first arrived at the commune and had direct contact with the people, some people did not understand the work process, leading to frustration and bad words. At times like that, I had to stay calm to listen and clearly discuss the work content. When people have their questions answered thoroughly, no matter how difficult they are, they will understand and share,” said Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh.

Although he has not been in the area for long, with his spirit of serving the people, Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh is loved and trusted by the local people. From this trust, the people always provide the police force with many valuable sources of information, serving the work of ensuring security and order in the locality.
Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh's closeness to the people and responsibility for her work are also demonstrated through her direct participation in resolving cases related to security and order, effectively fighting against all types of crimes and social evils.
With the strong will of a police officer and the ingenuity and patience of a woman, the female Lieutenant of Pho Chau Town Police directly resolved many cases at the grassroots level in a reasonable and sympathetic manner.

As the only female commune-level police officer in Huong Son, Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh always strives to overcome difficulties and complete all assigned tasks well.

Not only completing all aspects of work well, Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh also actively participated in the activities of the Youth Union and Associations organized by the Provincial and District Police. Last April, Lieutenant Binh excellently won second prize in the "Ao Dai with Ha Tinh homeland" contest organized by the Provincial Women's Union.
With her efforts at work, Lieutenant Doan Thanh Binh has been awarded many certificates of merit by the Provincial Police Director and local authorities.
